It's kind of funny how every once in a while you can catch something that one writer does that unique to them and and no one else. It's like a fingerprint. In addition to "on the other (hoof, paw, anything but hand)", we now have the awkward conversation starter...

     "Elphaba."

     "Glinda," Glinda said, not wanting to be left out.

From Psalm of the Lark....

     "Dick," said Batman.

     "Bruce," said Nightwing.

     "Yahtzee," I said to no one in particular.

I LOVE it!! I have actually used "Yahtzee" that way after reading Psalm. Too much fun.

Oh, one other thing now that I think about it - actually goes back to the previous chapter...  Have Glinda and Elphba acknowledged that there may be some sexual/romantic attraction between them, or are they still building to that?

I am really starting to get into this story, but it does confuse me.  Since the only Wizard of Oz story I know is the original, I can't figure out if that hurts or helps.  Regardless, I am enjoying the story although it is now evident that this is going to be a long one.  Guess I'll just have to buckle in and enjoy the ride.  

So, this is new.  I have absolutely zero exposure to any of this ship, so I had to hit up my friend Google.  At least I know who the characters are now, and if you live up to your normal standard of writing, that's all I'll need.  Looking forward to it, although this Chapter is short enough that it should have been called a teaser!  You did enough just to get me hooked!
